Reptile World

The Reptile World program was designed to give audiences the opportunity to meet an interesting selection of live, large, colorful, and gentle reptiles from all over the world. Audiences enjoy discovering what reptiles are, what makes them different from birds and mammals, and how important they are in our environment. Many of the myths and misconceptions are dispelled, instilling a greater appreciation and understanding of these fascinating reptiles.

Mister Don the Music Man

Harold Wood’s “Circus In A Suitcase”
Thursday, July 13, 2017 - 2 pm
Location: Pocomoke Branch
What happens when Harold Wood, the ringmaster, introduces each act but none show up? Harold is in a pickle! What will he do? “The show must go on. You must always try to do your very best!” Your students will laugh and learn as Harold transforms himself into each of the circus performers. Children learn that the things that make us different also make us special.

Turtle Dance Music

We spark children's curiosity and imaginations through interactive, inclusive musical performances that use a wide range of instruments, comedy and music technology. Our 45-60 minute sensory-friendly performances are geared for Pre-K, grades K-5 and students on the Autism Spectrum.

Water Olympics (weather permitting)

Cool off with some fun water games and relays. For ages 6 & up.

Ed Stivender
Thursday, August 3, 2017 - 2 pm
Location: Pocomoke Branch
Ed Stivender has been referred to as “the Robin Williams of storytelling." -- Miami Herald. Ed has fabulated his way around the globe -- he has been a featured performer at the National Storytelling Festival, the Cape Clear Island International Storytelling Festival in Ireland, Graz Festival, Austria and our own Philadelphia Folk Festival.
