Junk Journaling

A junk journal is a handmade book made up of recycled items such as papers from magazines, brochures, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, packaging, brown paper bags, maps, greeting cards, post cards, and doilies, to name a few. The book covers can be made from cereal boxes, old book covers or any hard card boards. The popularity of these expressions of self is spiraling across the country!

Are you suffering from an illness or grieving the loss of a loved one? Research has shown that writing about stressful experiences is therapeutic and promotes physical and emotional healing. Writing exercises are used to stimulate the process of creative expression. No prior writing experience is necessary.

Ballycastle Knits

Victoria Christie-Healy, the club organizer, has been knitting since childhood. Victoria and her husband and business partner, Mike Healy, relocated to Ocean Pines in March of 2015. Her career as a knitting teacher started at the Reston Community Center in 2009 and grew over the next four years to several other community centers in Northern Virginia. She has taught several hundred women (and some men) how to knit. She conducts several knitting retreats a year in Ireland.

November 11th-14th is Homeless Awareness Week so for our Feel Good Friday program we are going to help those in need. Come and assemble Blessing Bottles to be delivered to the homeless around Worcester County. We'll provide the bottles and you help us fill them up! Call for a list of supplies needed or stop by the branch anytime.

Crocheted Rug Making

In this 2-part class you will learn to make crocheted rugs like our grandmother used to make
using strips of extra fabric from other projects. These rugs are versatile and beautiful. Please bring
