Research has shown that writing about stressful experiences, like illness, may boost health & psychological well-being. Group uses exercises to stimulate the process for creative expression. No prior writing experience needed. This program is facilitated by Ashley Lewis.

Mindfulness and Meditation

Loving-kindness is a meditation practiced by Buddhists to develop the mental habit of selfless and altruistic love.
This is a 3-week course on the practices of mindful living taught by Dr. Cindy Roman.

Maryland Dept. of Veterans Affairs representative, Michelle Licata, is available to offer outreach services to veterans and their families on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10 am to 3 pm. No appointment necessary.
