Alice’s Ordinary People

Thursday, October 26 - 2 pm

Location: Ocean Pines Branch

Alice’s Ordinary People is a documentary DVD about Alice Tregay, an unsung heroine of the Civil Rights Movement. Her remarkable story spans the historic period from the marches of Dr. King to the election of Barack Obama. Alice’s contribution to the field of politics is the thread which connects the two. Audience will also meet filmmaker, Craig Dudnick, and learn why and how he came to make the film and the circumstances in Chicago which drew Alice to the Civil Rights Movement. Alice was featured on the NPR program “The Story with Dick Gordon.”
