- Bus Trip to Green Dragon Farmer’s Market & Auction
Friday, May 1, 2015
As the rooster crows early morn, the Green Dragon comes alive every Friday morning in the little country town of Ephrata in Lancaster County. Thousands of local shoppers have visited this local attraction since 1932 for their weekly shopping from over 400 local growers, merchants and craftsmen. Located on a 30 acre site in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, the Green Dragon Market has grown to be one of the largest Farmers Markets in the area. The market offers visitors the choice of shopping indoors or outdoors. With 7 large market buildings and many other smaller shops, the Green Dragon merchants offer everything from "soup to nuts". Buses leave from Snow Hill behind the Post Office at 6:30 am and from the Ocean Pines Library at 7:00 am. This trip is sponsored by the Worcester County Library Foundation. Please reserve your seat leaving from Ocean Pines at the Ocean Pines Branch or leaving from Snow Hill by calling Lisa Outten Stant, Adult
Program and Public Relations Manager, at 410-632-3970. The trip cost is $43.00.
