  • Sensory Story Time

    Location: Snow Hill Branch
    Join us for an inclusive story time designed to bring youngsters of all ages and abilities to the library. Hear a story, sing songs and make a craft. Please register for this program by calling 410-632-3495. Siblings, families and caretakers are all welcome.

  • Mini Pumpkin Decorating
    Monday, October 23 - Wednesday, November 1 - any time

    Location: Snow Hill Branch
    Decorate a mini pumpkin to take home with you! The library will supply all materials. For children of all ages.

  • Junk Journaling
    Monday, October 23 - 2:00 pm

    Location: Snow Hill Branch
    A junk journal is a handmade book made up of recycled items such as papers from magazines, brochures, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, packaging, brown paper bags, maps, greeting cards, post cards, and doilies, to name a few. The book covers can be made from cereal boxes, old book covers or any hard card boards. The popularity of these expressions of self is spiraling across the country!


  • Snow Hill Book of the Month - “The Sweet Potato Queens’ Book of Love” by Jill Conner Browne
    Wednesday, October 25 - 5:30 pm

    Location: Snow Hill Branch
    Join us for monthly book discussion from a rousing range of genres ranging from science fiction to historical, classics to YA - facilitated by Cassandra Dasher, Snow Hill library staff. Copies of the book are available at the Snow Hill branch in advance.

  • Writing for Wellness
    Thursday, October 26 - 2:00 pm

    Location: Snow Hill Branch
    Are you suffering from an illness or grieving the loss of a loved one? Research has shown that writing about stressful experiences is therapeutic and promotes physical and emotional healing. Writing exercises are used to stimulate the process of creative expression. No prior writing experience is necessary.
