To support the many book clubs in our area, the staff at Worcester County Library has carefully selected titles that represent a wide variety of topics, interests, and genres. Both fiction and non-fiction titles are included.
What titles are available as book club kits?

Who can check out Book Club Kits?
Any Worcester County Library cardholder (with the exception of temporary card holders) may borrow a kit. The kit circulates as an entire set and is checked out to an individual cardholder. Holds can be placed through the card catalog or by calling your local library branch. The library will contact the cardholder when the kit is ready for pick-up. Kits can be shipped to any branch in the Worcester County Library System.
Where do I pick up a Book Club Kit?
Kits being held for patrons can be found at the circulation desk under the cardholder’s name.
How long does a Book Club Kit circulate?
Kits can be checked out for 3 weeks. Bags may be renewed one time if no one else is waiting for the kit. The overdue fine for kits returned late is $1.00 per day. Replacement cost for an entire kit is $100.00. The replacement costs of individual parts will depend on the cost of the individual item. Missing titles can be replaced with either, new or second hand as long as it is clean and readable.
How do I return a Book Club Kit?
When returning the kit, the cardholder who checked out the kit should check the contents against the content list and return the kit to the circulation desk. Kits are not to be returned through the Book Drop.
