COVID Safety Protocols Instituted for In-person Worcester County Library Programs

Effective Tuesday, January 4, 2022, those attending in-person programs at the Worcester County Library will be required to wear face masks and practice social distancing. These enhanced safety measures for library programs have been implemented to protect public health in response to the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases in Maryland.

In keeping with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, the wearing of face masks in other areas of the library branches is recommended, but not required at this time

The library has a limited amount of free masks for patrons if you forget your mask and wish to attend a program. The library also offers virtual programming; see our full events calendar at Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
