Stories from the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Ocean City Branch Library has partnered with the Global Z Recording Project and 14 other libraries across the state of Maryland to collect stories related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Storytelling is known to be an incredibly powerful and valuable historical tool and we are looking for Worcester County residents to share their voices and experiences living through the pandemic. Stories will become part of the Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Digital Maryland and Maryland State Archives collections where they will be available to benefit all of mankind. In addition, feature stories will be distributed with the assistance of National Public Radio flagship station, WYPR.  This project was made possible by a grant from Maryland Humanities through support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.  For more information please contact the Ocean City Branch or 410-524-1818.
